Description

Rome, Italy. Piazza del Campidoglio (on the Capitol hill). Detail (horn of plenty) of one of the two Colossal statues in front of the Palazzo Senatorio representing the river Tiber, original Roman from the Thermae of Constantine moved here in 1518. The original Roman represented the river Tigris and was transformed into a celebration of the river Tiber by substituting a tiger with the twins.
