Rome, Italy. The statue "Cuius principatus super humerum eius" ("Whose government shall be upon His shoulder") one of the ten statues of angels with symbols of the Passion (Statue di angeli con i simboli della Passione), by Ercole Ferrata on design by Bernini, in Ponte Sant Angelo in Rome. Also called "Angelo con la croce" (angel with the cross).
About Fabrizio Ruggeri
Roman, born 1966, photographer by vocation, I received my long-desired first camera when I was 7 years old, a Kodak Instamatic 36, and since then photography is one of my main interests in life. I work mainly in colour, using both digital and film, and develop my colour films by myself with a Jobo CPP-2 rotary processor. My main subjects of interest are urban landscape and sculpture, photographed with an explicitly descriptive attitude. My photographs have also been published in travel guides, newspapers and text books all over the world, from the US and Brazil to Japan.
